Star Hand

Star Hand

The hamsa found it's way into Jewish iconography through the Jewish silversmiths of Morocco, who decorated this ancient Middle Eastern symbol with designs that suited their varied customers. These amulets have three key holes between the fingers and a Star of David in the palm. The shape is also a inverted stylized bird.
